We take customer satisfaction very seriously. Our rates are competitive and the quality of our services is guaranteed. Read below for a detailed description of rates and policies, or contact us with any questions or concerns.


We will send you a written estimate before beginning the work. The written estimate includes the volume (number of words or pages), the rate (cost per word, rate per hour or fixed rate) and the deadline.

For high-volume projects, the terms may include partial delivery and payment dates.

As soon as an agreement is reached, a contract is drawn up with the terms.


Our translation rates are charged on a per source word basis. This means that we multiply the total number of words in your project by an amount-per-word (which is determined based on the specific delivery deadlines and technicality of your project) to determine the total project rate. The rate varies according to technicality, volume, deadline and format.

Editing rates are either fixed (a total cost per project) or charged by the hour. The rate varies according to the editorial task, project volume, deadline and format.

Our rates are competitive compared to the professional market. It is a known fact that many agencies with very low rates outsource the work to non-native translators with no formal training or to students who are not yet qualified to perform the work. These agencies not only lower translation standards worldwide, they drive the prices down, making it very difficult for qualified professionals to make a living. We never work with non-qualified third parties.

All rates are subject to TPS and TVQ, unless an exemption applies.

Quality Assurance

Proofreading is the first step in quality assurance. Proofreaders check for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors in the text after it has been translated. Revision is the second step in quality assurance. When a text has been translated, it is considered safe practice for a qualified third party to compare the original text with the translation in order to ensure that the text has been accurately translated and that the layout has been respected. We proofread and revise all projects before delivering the final product to the client.

Refund Policy

For jobs delivered after the agreed deadline, the client may request a refund of up to 15% of the cost.

If the client is not satisfied with the quality of the work, the client may request a refund of up to 15% of the cost OR that we rework the document(s).

Because of the service nature of the process, no returns are accepted.

Any extra changes made by the client to the document after the work has begun may incur additional fees.

Cancellation Policy

For jobs cancelled after the client authorized us to commence the work, the following refunds will apply: 75% if the job was approved by the client but the work has not begun. No refunds will be issued after work has begun.

Confidentiality Policy

We will not share any of your personal information or intellectual property with any third party. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold.
